Abstract
The article attempts to identify the relevance of psychological knowledge in the
manager's work. Analysing the departments (sections) of this science, the achievements
of psychology of management and organization are underlined, as well as growing
significance of the positive psychology in the last decade. This trend is the base of POS -
Positive Organizational Scholarship, emerging as both hope and doubts. Exploitation of
this knowledge is an essential component of interpersonal manager’s skills.
