Racjonalizacja rozwiązań w zakresie zagospodarowania i unieszkodliwiania stałych odpadów komunalnych

Abstract

The article deals with the control of communal wastes. Wishing to adopt a modern model of the control of solid wastes it would be necessary to tap the experience of similar systems in the highly developed countries. Depending on the type of wastes, there are used different methods of their utilization (composting of solid wastes, their incineration, or storing on dumping grounds). The article discusses also the problem of packaging and recovery of raw materials from different types of wastes. The choice of an optimal utilization technique, fulfilling the condition of costs minimization, and adapting solutions to a definite ecological system are the main issues tackled in the article.
