Parateksty w najnowszym dramacie polskim (na wybranych przykładach)

Abstract

The first fifteen years of the 21st century took in Poland a rise of the new dramaturgy. Near the other features characteristic for the new “texts for the stage” they are distinguish by using performative energy of the paratexts. Because of their hybridism and liminality, paratexts carry the power which can destroy dramaturgy in its traditional meaning, adopt, textualize and incorporate to the writings compounds of the non-literary reality. In the creations of the young Polish authors paratexts obtain the status metatextual and metaimaginary games with the recipient. They become the signs of the provocative manifestation the presence of the subject and make of the main text, with the full calculating premeditation, an excuse for their expansion. The paratexts make us to change the meaning of the dramatic text, the author, the subject, the system of dramatic and literary communication and the opposition drama-theater. Suspended between the stage duty, the expression of subjectivity and performative game with the recipient, represent the paratexts both the discipline and the temptation of contemporary Polish playwriting – their diverse manifestations will become the subject of this paper attempts to describe and theoretical generalizations.
