Tytułowy problem publikacji odsyła do koncepcji człowieka w ujęciu Victora Emila Frankla i rozpatrywany jest przez pryzmat zagadnień: współczesnej aktualności problematyki dehumanizujących konsekwencji redukcjonistycznych wizji człowieka, podstawowych przesłanek krytyki redukcjonistycznych koncepcji człowieka w dyskursie psychologii egzystencjalnej i humanistycznej, samotranscendencji jako osobowego poszukiwania i wypełniania sensu własnej egzystencji, zdolności człowieka do opierania się determinacjom i uwarunkowaniom zewnętrznym względem władzy jego podmiotowości, podstawowych przesłanek poszukiwania i odkrywania egzystencjalnego sensu w perspektywie franklowskiej ontologii dymensjonalnej, roli i znaczenia kategorii samodystansowania i samotranscendencji w modelu logoedukacji jako drogi afirmacji wielowymiarowości osobowej egzystencji człowieka oraz autoedukacyjnego odnajdywania sensu własnego życia i stawania się sobą. The question included in the title of the paper refers to the concept of man in the perspective of Victor Emil Frankl and is discussed through the prism of the following issues: the contemporary relevance of the issue of dehumanizing consequences of reductionist perspectives on humanity, the basic premises of the critique of reductionist concepts of man in the discourse of existential and humanistic psychology, self-transcendence as a personal search for and fulfillment of the meaning of one’s own existence, the ability of man to resist conditions and determinants external to the power of his subjectivity, basic premises of searching for and discovering existential meaning in the perspective of Frankl’s dimensional ontology, and the role and significance of the categories of self-distancing and self-transcendence in the model of logoeducation as a way of affirming the multidimensionality of human personal existence and self-educational finding the meaning of one’s own life and becoming oneself to the best of one’s ability.
