Abstract

The article consists of the overview of researches on college students and refers to challenges faced by academic teachers. The author claims the quality transition affected students in the past 20 years. The articles explores the influence of an ubiquitous access to the Internet, changes in students intelligence distribution, multitasking and cultural and cognitive differences between East and West cultures in the context of foreign students in Polish universities.
