Streszczenie
The article presents employees’ assessment of the Lodz region companies’ interest in their
employees’ work-life balance and the measures they adopt in this area. It also show what the employees
know about the solutions operated in their companies, the forms and frequency at which
assistance is offered, and managers’ attitude to employees trying to maintain work-life balance.
Besides, the article deals with social funds functioning in the companies.
As shown by the analysis of the survey’s results, the companies have limited interest in their
employees’ work-life balance problems, which is even declining with their employees growing
older and having longer years of service. A very large gap was found between the forms of assistance
offered by the companies and those preferred by the employees.
