Cyfrowe narzędzia promocji czytelnictwa lektur obowiązkowych na poziomie gimnazjum

Abstract

Ogólnopolskie badanie czytelnictwa młodzieży, zrealizowane w 2010 roku, pokazało, że młodzież nieczytająca książek (ani w czasie wolnym, ani w ramach obowiązku szkolnego) stanowiła 14% ogółu polskich piętnastolatków. W artykule podjęta została próba opisania możliwości wykorzystania Internetu do promocji lektur „ogwiazdkowanych” z Podstawy programowej. Zjawisko zafascynowania młodzieży globalną siecią upoważnia badaczy i pedagogów do wykorzystywania jej w celu rozwijania czytelnictwa lektur z serca literatury polskiej. Artykuł obejmuje prezentację rozwiązań dydaktycznych (komiks cyfrowy, mechanizm wiki i zooming presentation) do promocji czytelnictwa obowiązkowych lektur szkolnych na poziomie gimnazjalnym. Okazuje się, że takie działanie może być sposobem na przełamanie czytelniczego impasu. Internet nie musi być konkurencją, zagrożeniem dla pozycji książki – może stać się sprzymierzeńcem, o ile zostanie wykorzystany w sposób przemyślany i zorganizowany.

A survey into reading habits of teenagers conducted nationwide in 2010 has shown that youngsters who do not read books (neither as a pastime nor under the obligation imposed by the school) constitute 14% of all Polish fifteen-year-olds. The presented paper attempts at describing the possibility of using the internet to promote the readership of the obligatory books from the Core curriculum. The phenomenon of the fascination that young people have for the global network entitles researchers and teachers to use it in order to encourage reading classical Polish literature. The article includes the presentation of existing didactic methods (digital comic strip, wiki software and zooming presentation) to promote the readership of the books set by the junior secondary school curriculum. Moreover, the paper proposes new solutions in this field. It appears that such actions can lead to breaking the impasse in readership. The internet does not have to compete with or endanger the position of the book as a medium – as long as it is used in a reasonable and organized way, it could actually be an ally.
