Expresívnosť orohodoným
Streszczenie
The orohodonyms (climbing-path names) identify the vertical lines of the parts of rocks, which serve for climbing purposes. Orohodonyms are used in the closer society of rock climbers and identify certain part of the object, climbing-paths on the parts of rocks therefore, they are microoronyms. The study deals with means of expression used to convey the expressivity of orohodonyms in rock-climbing regions of Slovakia. Stylistic and aesthetic value of the name is part of the toponymic meaning. Expressivity originates from the motivation, from the most varied associations, from the linguistic build-up of proper names. Emotiveness plays an important role in the choice of climbing-path names; according to motivation, the most frequented names refer to feelings, experiences of rock-climbers while climbing. Climbing-path names coming from interjections, euphemisms, dysphemisms, neologisms, dialectisms, slangisms, phraseologisms, diminutives feature inherent expressivity. Adherent expressivity is characterised by metaphoric, metonymic, transonymised names, which have connotative, associative meaning. Contextual expressivity is present in multiword names in which lexemes are linked in an unusual way as well as in sentential names. Inherent, adherent, and contextual expressivity are considered as mutually supplementing types, which contribute to stylistic markedness of proper names
