Streszczenie
All words have a specifi c weight. For some, this weight is slight, but others are endowed, according to Galisson, with a great “shared cultural load”: this is the case of the language of fl owers, impregnated with symbolism. It refl ects an experience, an education, a culture, the society where we evolve, or the one that we admire as French teachers and enthusiasts of the French culture. The aim of this paper is to recall some connotations evoked by four fl owers: the rose, the poppy, the fl eur-de-lis and the daisy: a small and modest bouquet, on the occasion of the birthday of our beloved Alicja.
