Definiowanie interesu narodowego w Chińskiej Republice Ludowej (po 1989 r.)

Abstract

Zagadnienie interesu narodowego Chin jest szeroko dyskutowane w literaturze chińskiej i światowej. W artykule autor przedstawił główne czynniki kształtujące chiński interes narodowy zaczynając na materialnych aspektach, a kończąc na ujęciu konstruktywistycznym. Mimo iż sytuacja materialna Chin zmieniła się na korzyść, to cel określany mianem core interest pozostał od upadku Cesarstwa Qing niezmienny. Chiny stale podkreślały konieczność zachowania ciągłości, suwerenności i zapobieżenia kolejnym wiekom upokorzeń. Tekst został podzielony na analizę dyskursu oficjalnego oraz publicznego, kreowanego przez chińskich naukowców.

The problem of China’s national interest has been vastly discussed by both domestic and international literature. The paper aims to present major factors that shaped China’s national interest concepts. The author tries to present big picture of both material and nonmaterial variables in China’s national interests. Although China has become „super rich” the major core interest remains the same: keep own sovereignty, territorial integrity and preserve from „the years of humiliation”. The paper is based on Chinese sources from official and public discourse.
