"Internetowy Magazyn Filozoficzny Hybris" przy Instytucie Filozofii Uniwersytetu Łódzkiego powstał w 2001 r. Od pierwszego numeru periodyk poświęcony jest szeroko pojętej tematyce filozoficznej. Naszym celem jest promowanie oryginalnej twórczości filozoficznej oraz integrowanie środowiska filozoficznego. Oprócz oryginalnych artykułów Magazyn publikuje wywiady z filozofami, recenzje najnowszych pozycji filozoficznych oraz przekłady interesujących, a mało znanych pozycji filozoficznych oraz tekstów przydatnych do celów dydaktycznych. Od numeru 24 (2014) Internetowy Magazyn Filozoficzny "HYBRIS" wydawany jest przy współpracy z Ośrodkiem Badań Filozoficznych. Redakcja IMF HYBRIS informuje, że ponieważ czasopismo nie posiada wersji papierowej, wszystkie publikacje umieszczone na stronie magazynu są wersjami pierwotnymi (referencyjnymi).
