Abstract

Entrepreneurs, that want to offer a product that meets the highest quality, social and environmental standards should pay attention to what is happening throughout the whole supply chain, from which the materials needed in the production process come. This is particularly important that manufacturers are responsible for the final product. It seems that the concept of social responsibility facilitates the verification and monitoring processes in the supply chain. The article portrays the issue of socially responsible supply chain management on the example of Fair-Trade certification.
