| dc.description.abstract | The article describes green areas with which the towns of the administrative province of Lodz are equipped. It covers a time horizon of 1975—1980. The comparative analysis performed by the author encompassed both the types and spatial structure of green areas in particular urban units. The green areas available in the town of Lodz are analyzed separately with allowances made for disproportions between particular residential districts. Finally, there are briefly outlined these problems
