Językowa praktyka. O wierszu Colloquium niedzielne na ulicy Juliana Tuwima

Abstract

The article is an interpretation of Julian Tuwim’s poem titled Sunday Colloquium on the Street. The key to this interpretation is a reference to linguistic theory. The underlying thesis is that language in the work is approached from the perspective of its pragmatic implementation. This approach modifies the belief in the truthfulness of the stated theses. At the same time, the shift in motivation for using words is linked to the new political and social realities that are becoming commonplace in the wake of Poland’s regained independence and the establishment of a democratic system of government.

Artykuł zawiera interpretację wiersza Juliana Tuwima Colloquium niedzielne na ulicy. Podstawowym narzędziem interpretacyjnym jest teoria języka, a zasadniczą tezą przekonanie, że język w utworze jest traktowany z punktu widzenia jego pragmatycznej realizacji, co ma także związek z epistemologiczną teorią prawdy. Zarazem zmiana motywacji posługiwania się słowem wiąże się z nowymi realiami polityczno-społecznymi, które stają się codziennością w związku z odzyskaniem przez Polskę niepodległości i ustanowieniem demokratycznego systemu rządów.
