Współpraca przedsiębiorstw sektora MMSP z jednostkami badawczo – rozwojowymi w obszarze innowacji na przykładzie przedsiębiorstw regionu łódzkiego - wyniki badań empirycznych

Abstract

Innovations are one of major factors that determine the competitiveness in the knowledge –based economy. Companies from MSME sector are open to new solutions but at the same time, due to certain barriers, are not very innovative and competitive. Supporting these companies in cooperation with science sphere may have an significant influence on their development. The main aim of this article is to assess the co-operation between micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in the region of Lodz on the basis of research results conducted in the project " The Co-operation of Science and Business as a Factor Enhancing Innovativeness of the Lodz Region", co-financed by the European Union within the framework of European Social Fund. The research results indicate m.in that the MSME companies are open to implementing such cooperation, however, it is necessary to take certain measures to ensure the development and increase the effectiveness of market links in this area.
