dc.description.abstractThe author discusses the hymn in general and extracts its characteristics. Next, the analysis of the Hymn to Zeus (from the last part of Euripides’ Trojan trilogy) is presented in the context of the trilogy, the dramatist’s works and Aeschylos’ Agamemnon. The matter of the god’s effigy which is presented in the analyzed hymn and in another hymn in Aeschylos’ Agamemnon is taken under consideration. The article concludes with the statement that Euripides enriched the dramaturgical hymn with philosophical context.pl_PL
