Функции заголовков научных лингвистических работ

Abstract

In this article are considered out of context titles which are included in bibliographic indexes. It’s shown that structural-semantic features of titles depend on ideological-subject base of publications and on the most important communicative qualities of scientific style. As one of the means of realization of basic functions of titles-nominative, expression of scientific concept, informative- in the article are analyzed verbal nouns ending with “niye”. It’s shown up that these linguistic units are used for simple nomination of subject, object, sources and methods of linguistic research, serve as a key word of titles, express concentrated information. Usage and subject description of nouns ending with “niye” gives us an opportunity to speak about semantic role of these units in the composition of titles of scientific publications.
