Sytuacja demograficzna młodzieży i jej społeczne konsekwencje

Abstract

This article is dedicated to introducing the reader to the global socio-demographic situation of youth. I will attempt to show the position of young people in global demographic structures and refer to the resulting consequences and challenges. Thus, I will devote this article to characterising, based on available data and studies, the young generation in global, continental and national (Poland) terms. I will try to indicate the most important variables which reflect the situation of the young in comparison to other age groups and reflect on the social consequences of the revealed processes for the status of the youth category.

Artykuł ten poświęcony jest przybliżeniu czytelnikowi globalnej sytuacji społeczno-demograficznej młodzieży. Będę starała się pokazać położenie młodych osób w globalnych strukturach demograficznych oraz nawiązać do wynikających z tego konsekwencji i wyzwań. Tym samym punkt ten poświęcę na charakterystykę, w oparciu o dostępne dane i opracowania, młodego pokolenia w ujęciu globalnym, kontynentalnym i krajowym (Polska). Postaram się wskazać najważniejsze zmienne, które odzwierciedlają sytuację młodych na tle innych grup wiekowych oraz zastanowić się nad konsekwencjami społecznymi ujawnionych procesów dla statusu kategorii młodzieży.
