The proposals have been developed, based on review of literature, best practices, as well as author’s on studies, conducted among people with hearing impairment in years 2004–2010 in Poland. These proposals contain hints regarding tourist information system, qualification of the staff responsible for tourist services (including rules of guiding groups of people, who use PJM) as well as opportunities of using new technologies in order to minimize the language barrier and ensure the safety of people with hearing impairment, both indoors and outdoors.
