Параболические повести Чингизa Айтматовa

Abstract

The article presents an attempt to characterize the genre characteristics of the contemporary parabolical story whose typical examples are Russian stories of Tchingiz Aytmatov: Proshtchai, Goolsary! and Byelyi Parohod. A particular attention was paid to the revealing of the function of such parabolical forms as parable, fable, and myth in the plot-compositional structure of the literary work. It is obvious that parabolical microstruktures are responsible for correction of plot at particular stages of its development, schematization and straightening of plot as a whole, and simultaneously attach to the concrete story the significance of general-human formula. Creating a hierarchic system they constitute the components of the general structure of a polymorphic parabolical story. Such factors as time and space, contributing to the formation of a literary genre, are activated. The time-space continuum is modelled as a system of binary oppositions (an important role is performed by symbolicism, and in particular number symbolicism), which can be reduced to the general opposition: nature— culture.

W artykule podjęto próbę charakterystyki cech gatunkowych współczesnej opowieści parabolicznej, której typowym przykładem są rosyjskie opowieści Czyngiza Ajtmatowa Żegnaj, Gulsary! oraz Biały statek. Szczególną uwagę zwrócono na rolę funkcji takich form parabolicznych, jak przypowieść, bajka i mit w fabularno-kompozycyjnej strukturze utworu. Jest oczywiste, że paraboliczne mikrostruktury mają za zadanie korygowanie fabuły na poszczególnych etapach jej rozwoju, schematyzację i prostowanie fabuły jako całości i tym samym nadają konkretnej treści utworu rangę formuł ogólnoludzkich. Tworząc system hierarchiczny wchodzą one jako części składowe do ogólnej polimorficznej struktury opowieści parabolicznej. Aktywizują się przy tym takie czynniki tworzące gatunek literacki, jak czas i przestrzeń. Kontinuum czasowe i przestrzenne modelowane jest jako system opozycji binarnych, które sprowadzają się do opozycji generalnej: przyroda — kultura. Ważną rolę odgrywa tu symbolika, w szczególności symbolika liczb.
