К вопросу о жанровом диапазоне литературоведческих исследований

Abstract

The paper does not aim at presenting a catalogue of empirically defined genres of literary scholarship, but outlines quite the topical genological approach to the variety of forms in the field of scholarly works on literature. It is obvious that some of those forms border on other kinds of creative and scholarly activities (fiction, literary criticism, psychology, sociology, aesthetics, pedagogy etc.). The genres in question often coincide with the literary-critical forms in definition, but diiier from them in function. As well as literary forms, they are historically flexible though are marked by the more steadiness and relative conservativeness. Approaching the genres as a system, it is possible to diiferentiate two subsystems existing in literary theory and literary history. It is the literary-scholarly discourse which is common for the both fields.
