Jakość życia osób z trwałym i postępującym uszkodzeniem wzroku

Abstract

The quality of life is a date which for many years occupies researchers and theoreticians from many fields of science. A social science, in which the particular interest is being put on the measurement of the quality of life of persons is one of these fields of sick persons and disabled persons. However these examinations aren't being conducted with equal intensity with reference to all categories of disabled persons. For example persons with the damaged eyesight, in particular persons with long-lasting and progressing damaging the eyesight. Diversified dynamics of damage cause that these persons in the different way are responding to loss of the eyesight, in the different way are adapting themselves to new opportunities; and what is being combined with it their feeling the quality of life is also diversified. In order to compare the their situation in life of persons with long-lasting and progressing damaging the eyesight conducted examinations stayed which results clearly are appointing to differences in the quality of life. Simultaneously these examinations confirmed, these persons require the different help directed at specific needs resulting from dynamics of injuring the sight organ.
