Trzy pytania o polską socjologię sportu

Abstract

Two books edited by Kevin Young (2016, 2017) present the global landscape of the sociology of sport. The authors give the characteristic of this subdiscipline in their countries. The statements are based on some common key question. But there is a lack of Poland in these analysis. Thus, this text delivers the brief description of sociology of sport in Poland. The review is focused on its three aspects: the past, the present and the future.

W dwóch wydanych niedawno publikacjach pod redakcją Kevina Younga (2016, 2017) przedstawiony został światowy pejzaż socjologii sportu. Autorzy poszczególnych rozdziałów tej publikacji, reprezentujący różne państwa, zostali poproszeni o opisanie rodzimego statusu tej subdyscypliny w oparciu o zbiór pytań kluczowych dla jej scharakteryzowania. Wśród analizowanych krajów nie pojawia się jednak Polska. Niniejszy tekst jest zatem próbą opisania kondycji polskiej socjologii sportu przez pryzmat trzech jej aspektów: przeszłości, teraźniejszości i przyszłości.
