Streszczenie
The article analyzes Elfriede Jelinek’s Snow White and Sleeping Beauty as reinterpretations
of classic fairytales. Weronika Kosecka’s conception of the postmodern fairytale
is referred to so as to illuminate Jelinek’s engagement with the issues of gender and
the body in the texts under discussion.
