Problemy rewitalizacji śródmieścia w kontekście koncentrycznie ukształtowanego układu komunikacyjnego (przykład Brzezin)

Abstract

The main goal of this article is to identify the problems encountered during the process of creation of redevelopment concepts of inner city area, arising from the historically evolved transportation network of small town and proposed new structure of road linkages, on the example of Brzeziny. The analyses will focus on the scheme of spatial development of town since the very beginning of its development, through the consecutive transformations and existing transportation system, with indication of barriers of its development in central area of town. As the result of the analyses a proposal of general directions of possible transformations of transportation structure of town is created, mainly concerning road system bicycle and pedestrian paths networks.
