Abstract

The paper is preface to the collection of articles on tourism management's quality in the region of Lodz (Poland). Author presents concept of tourism reception area as the subject of the managements process. Additionally, sustainable growth postulates in tourist destination management are discussed. Finally, author considers determinants of effective management of a tourist destination.
