dc.description.abstract | Despite years running by and numerous publications dedicated to this problem, career success
issue remains important and current from scientific point of view. Representatives of such domains
and disciplines as psychology, social psychology, sociology, management or economics are analyzing
its components and determinants. Recently exceptionally strong is tendency to emphasize
need to deviate from concentrating on measurable (objective) aspects and focusing also on subjective
aspects of career success. This paper is an attempt to build a model of career success, considering
objective and subjective component and the presentation of results of empirical research
aiming to discover what Poles understand under achieving career success term. At the end
of the paper certain substantial limitations are enumerated pertaining to performing the research
regarding career success and further research perspectives are indicated. | pl_PL |
dc.description.abstract | Problematyka sukcesu w karierze, mimo upływu lat i licznych publikacji poświęconych temu
zagadnieniu nie przestaje być ważna i aktualna z naukowego punktu widzenia. Przedstawiciele
takich dziedzin i dyscyplin naukowych jak: psychologia, psychologia społeczna, socjologia, nauki
o zarządzaniu czy ekonomia analizują czym jest sukces w karierze, jakie są jego składowe
i co go warunkuje. W ostatnim czasie szczególnie silnie podkreśla się konieczność odejścia
od koncentrowania uwagi badawczej wyłącznie na tym co mierzalne (obiektywne) i skupiania się także na subiektywnym wymiarze osiąganego sukcesu w karierze. W niniejszym artykule podjęto
próbę konstrukcji modelu sukcesu w karierze zawodowej, uwzględniającego jego obiektywny
i subiektywny wymiar oraz zaprezentowano wyniki badań empirycznych, ukierunkowanych
na rozpoznanie, co Polacy utożsamiają z odniesieniem sukcesu w karierze. Artykuł zakończono
wymienieniem pewnych, istotnych ograniczeń w przeprowadzaniu badań dotyczących sukcesu
w karierze zawodowej i wskazaniem dalszych perspektyw badawczych. | pl_PL |
