Sztuka reportażu radiowego - mikrokosmos dźwięków
Streszczenie
Writing about radio feature, without listening to it, is very difficult and risky if possible.
I t is the sound, that makes radio feature, or in other words, radio feature is a microcosmos
of sounds. People tell their long and dramatic stories, or sometimes give just short utterances,
but it is the sounds, not the words, that make us listen. A noisy city, a village, children
playing or quarrelling, slreet-cars and creaking floor - these are the elements that build the
drama. And the voices - indilTerent or trembling with passion, laughing or full of tears,
hating or loving.
And, of course, the sounds do not make us listen all by themselves. To find them and
select and record (and then select again), to arrange them in an attractive sequences and to
combine with the words - logically and emotionally that is the challenge for the author.
Joanna Sikorzanka presents and characterizes three distinguished radio features, pointing
a t different ways, in which the micro-cosmos of sounds is created m each case. These are:
„Wdowa (A Widow), by Anna Sekudewicz, „Spowiedź” (Confession) by Przemysław Witkowski,
„Limanka na koniec wieku” (Limanka at the Turn o f the Century), by Joanna Sikorzanka.
