Abstract

The industrialpolicy most of ten means creation of a long-term concept of development in this field desired by the state and application of effective tools of its implementation. Analysis of the practice shows that the West European states have developed various forms of control over process of structural changes in industry. However, analysis of criteria unerlying decision--making by the state in concrete cases allows to notice their frequently accidental emergenoy character, as well as in coherence with other goals of the contemporary interventionism.
