dc.description.abstractThe aim of the monograph is to systematize the current knowledge on the supplier involvement in product development (SIPD) and to deepen it the light of key challenges for the management of contemporary supply chains. There are four chapters in the monograph, only the first of which is the theoretical one. It introduces the key definitions, approaches and concepts related to the product development in value chain. The second chapter is a systematic literature review, which resulted in the analysis of 170 scientific articles. The description of the SLR outcomes was presented in eight thematic areas and led to the identification of various measures and existing research gaps. They became the basis for the development of research questionnaires and designing empirical research. The survey covered 500 manufacturing companies operating in Poland. It allowed answering eight research questions, including the recognition of the impact of SIPD on building resilient relationships with suppliers and designing products with reduced environmental impact. Case studies deepen the topic of Design for Environment and circular economy, presenting examples of cooperation with suppliers in the light of the NPD process and stages of the product life cycle. The monograph ends with, inter alia, recommendations for enterprises wishing to achieve better results in the product development chain as well as future research directions.pl_PL
dc.description.abstractCelem monografii jest próba usystematyzowania wiedzy o problematyce włączania dostawców w rozwój produktów (ang. Supplier Involvement in Product Development, SIPD) oraz jej pogłębienia na tle kluczowych dla zarządzania współczesnymi łańcuchami dostaw wyzwań. Opracowanie składa się z czterech rozdziałów, z których tylko pierwszy stanowi część teoretyczną. Przybliża on kluczowe pojęcia, podejścia i koncepcje w zakresie rozwijania produktów w łańcuchu wartości. Rozdział drugi to systematyczny przegląd literatury przedmiotu, której efektem stała się analiza 170 zagranicznych artykułów naukowych. Opis dotychczasowych wyników badań z zakresu SIPD, ujętych w osiem tematycznych obszarów doprowadził do rozpoznania sposobów pomiaru różnorodnych zmiennych oraz istniejących luk badawczych. Stały się one podstawą do opracowania narzędzi badawczych i przeprowadzenia badań empirycznych. Badanie ankietowe objęło 500 przedsiębiorstw produkcyjnych działających w naszym. Pozwoliło ono na znalezienie odpowiedzi na osiem pytań badawczych, w tym na zidentyfikowanie wpływu SIPD na budowanie odpornych relacji z dostawcami oraz projektowanie produktów o zmniejszonych wpływie na środowisko przyrodnicze. Studia przypadku pogłębiają tematykę DFE i GOZ, prezentując przykłady współpracy z dostawcami w świetle procesu NPD oraz etapów cyklu życia produktu. Monografia kończy się podsumowaniem, w którym znajdują się m.in. rekomendacje dla przedsiębiorstw chcących osiągać lepsze rezultaty we współpracy w łańcuchu rozwoju produktu i przyszłe kierunki badań.pl_PL
