Kobiety na rynku pracy w kontekście transformacji energetycznej: Przykład powiatu bełchatowskiego

Abstract

Publikacja dotyczy sytuacji kobiet na bełchatowskim rynku pracy w obliczu transformacji energetycznej. Kobiety są grupą mniej eksponowaną w związku z zieloną transformacją, a zagrożenia i szanse z niej płynące dotykać będą wszystkich mieszkańców Bełchatowa, powiatu i terenów przyległych. Skupianie się na konsekwencjach owych przemian tylko dla osób zatrudnionych w kopalni i w elektrowni pomija, a w najlepszym razie marginalizuje, innych uczestników rynku pracy, dla których niższe dochody potencjalnych klientów, a tym bardziej masowy wyjazd dotychczasowych mieszkańców związanych zawodowo z kopalnią i elektrownią, oznaczać może samoistnie konieczność zmiany planów zawodowych a często też życiowych. Niniejsze opracowanie jest w zasadzie pierwszą większą publikacją poświęconą obecnej i spodziewanej sytuacji kobiet na bełchatowskim rynku pracy, jej celem zaś była identyfikacja tego, jakie jest w świadomości interesariuszy, w tym pracodawców, znaczenie kobiet dla gospodarki powiatu i ich przedsiębiorstw oraz jakich skutków dla pracujących kobiet spodziewają się oni w wyniku zielonej transformacji.

The publication focuses on the situation of women on the labour market in Bełchatów in the face of the energy transition. Women are a less exposed group in relation to the green transition, and the risks and opportunities arising from it will affect all residents of Bełchatów, the district and neighbouring areas. Focusing on the consequences of these changes only for those employed in the mine and power plant overlooks, or at best marginalises, other participants in the labour market, for whom the lower income of potential customers, and even more so the mass departure of existing residents with professional ties to the mine and power plant, may itself mean the need to change career and often life plans. In fact, this study is the first major publication devoted to the current and expected situation of women on the labour market in Bełchatów, and its aim was to find out what stakeholders, including employers, consider to be the importance of women for the district's economy and their businesses, and what consequences they expect for working women as a result of the green transition.
