Streszczenie
The aim of this article is discussing a new method of studying social reality – analysis of discourse. This method is connected with many cognitive possibilities and can be effectively used in analysis of texts (verbalized and written). The reader of this article can find out how we can use critical analysis of discourse about school and edication. We wanted to recognize ways which are used by opinion- forming weeklies („Polityka”, „Newsweek”, „Wprost”, „Przegląd”, „Gość Niedzielny”) when these magazines present formal education. This recognition is important, because we have assumption that language is very significant in our understanding of the reality. When we name things which are around us we confer on this reality significances. The language is a kinf od medium of specific vision of the world, but not only image of this vision.
