dc.contributor.authorBiographicalnoteDr Jerzy S. Czarnecki ukończył w 1972 roku studia magisterskie na Wydziale Ekonomiczno-Socjologicznym Uniwersytetu Łódzkiego, na kierunku Studium Organizacji. W roku 1981 otrzymał tytuł doktora nauk ekonomicznych na podstawie rozprawy doktorskiej pod tytułem Systemy informowania kierownic- twa w świetle teorii organizacji, napisanej pod kierunkiem naukowym prof. zw. dra hab. Marcina Bielskiego. Od 1972 roku jest zatrudniony w Katedrze Zarządzania UŁ jako asystent, a potem adiunkt na Wydziale Ekonomiczno-Socjologicznym (od 1981), a następnie na Wydziale Zarządzania. Od roku 1995 dr Jerzy S. Czarnecki jest starszym wykładowcą w Katedrze Zarządzania Wydziału Zarządzania Uniwersytetu Łódzkiego. Zainteresowania naukowe dra Jerzego S. Czarneckiego koncentrują się wokół problemów teorii organizacji i zarządzania, postrzeganych w interdyscyplinarnym kontekście. Wyrazem tego są projekty badawcze, w których uczestniczył, oraz publikacje. Autor zajmuje się w nich kwestiami z zakresu organizacji i zarządzania nimi w połączeniu z innymi dyscyplinami, na przykład ekonomiką przedsiębiorstwa, systemami informatycznymi, programowaniem komputerów, symulacją systemów, rachunkowością, a także metodologią nauk i ewolucją. W publikacjach porusza zagadnienia, które znajdują się na pograniczu dyscyplin. Posługuje się przy tym zwykle metodą intelektualnej symulacji prowadzonej na modelowych obrazach problemów. Architektura korporacji zawiera opisywane wcześniej przez autora zagadnienia i charakterystyczne elementy metody jego twórczości: wielodyscyplinarność, modelowanie i intelektualne symulacje oraz analizy i syntezę stanu i przyszłości współczesnej korporacji. Dr Jerzy S. Czarnecki łączy wiedzę z praktycznym jej zastosowaniem w organizacjach gospodarczych. Był konsultantem, współtwórcą i współautorem między innymi: założeń do ustaw prywatyzacyjnych, założeń do regulacji pomocy publicznej, ale także prospektów emisyjnych i memorandów informacyjnych prywatyzowanych przedsiębiorstw, rocznych raportów spółek giełdowych oraz analiz schematów transakcji kapitałowych. Dr Czarnecki jest autorem i współautorem 5 rozdziałów w książkach, ponad 40 naukowych publikacji z zakresu teorii organizacji oraz teorii zarządzania, w tym także w języku angielskim, około 30 raportów opracowanych na zlecenie przedsiębiorstw, poufnych opracowań dla instytucji rządowych oraz jednego projektu ustawy. Jerzy S. Czarnecki przebywał na stażach i praktykach, w tym w IBM w Princeton NJ, A/S Tronder Data w Trondheim w Norwegii, Regiona Autonoma Della Sardegna w Cagliari na Sardynii, w Middlesex University-Business School w Londynie w Wielkiej Brytanii oraz – w ramach przygotowań do prowadzenia studiów MBA w Uniwersytecie Łódzkim – w University of Maryland w USA. Pochodną pracy naukowej autora jest dydaktyka, gdzie wprowadza nowo- czesne i nowatorskie metody: gry kierownicze, inscenizacje, scenariusze, opisy przypadków, modelowe przedsiębiorstwa, projekty analityczne i projekty doradcze. W wielu z nich jest autorem koncepcji, materiałów i wdrożenia, w tym także dla studiów w języku angielskim. Autor spędził łącznie blisko trzy lata w salach wykładowych zagranicznych uniwersytetów – w Kanadzie (1990, 1993, 2000) oraz jako profesor kanadyjskiego University of New Brunswick w Trynidadzie (2006), a także okazjonalnie w Norwegii i Stanach Zjednoczonych. Był też wielokrotnie wykładowcą w programach MBA prowadzonych wspólnie z amerykańskimi partnerami w polskich szkołach: International Business School Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego, International Business School w Poznaniu oraz SGH w Warszawie. Pracując na UŁ, autor ustawicznie uczestniczy w życiu gospodarczym jako praktyk, konsultant i szkoleniowiec: członek zarządu własnej firmy (CDC, a potem Comper); konsultant przedsiębiorstw, w tym także firm giełdowych oraz doradca firm konsultingowych i szkoleniowych. Dr Czarnecki przez blisko dwanaście lat sprawował funkcje menedżera projektów doradczych, realizowanych przez studentów studiów MBA Uniwersytetu Łódzkiego i Maryland University. Kierował realizacją projektów, w wyniku których powstało około stu wdrożeń w zakresie między innymi: wprowadzania nowych produktów na rynek, sposobów finansowania rozwoju kapitałowego czy systemów motywacyjnych polskich i zagranicznych firm operujących na polskim rynku; brał udział w realizacji jednego projektu w Maryland w USA. Dr Czarnecki pełni na Wydziale Zarządzania rolę inspiratora, autora, współautora oraz koordynatora programów nauczania, specjalności lub bloków specjalistycznych. Prowadzi na co dzień szerokie konsultacje na temat metod dydaktycznych i sposobów ich wdrażania oraz metod pracy naukowej. Dr Czarnecki otrzymał dziesięć nagród Rektora Uniwersytetu Łódzkiego za osiągnięcia w pracy dydaktyczno-wychowawczej lub organizacyjnej oraz nagrodę zespołową za osiągnięcia uzyskane w badaniach naukowych, a także nagrodę zespołową za najlepszy podręcznik akademicki 2003 roku.pl_PL
