Abstract

The author analyses economic development of the administrative commune as an object of interest on the part of local self-government, with more attention being focussed on diverse causes, effects and importance of local and national development. A thesis has been put forward, according to which the structure of national problems should be linked closely with the structure of micro problems. The author analyses in great detail the concept of development, its goal and factors in relation to the administrative commune. There are also formulated several practical conclusions concerning economic development of communes, which are connected with diagnosing, promotion and strategy.
