In recent years we can observe a number of papers concerning spatial effects and problems of incorporation of spatial dependences in regional growth models. In the context of NEG and endogenous growth theories externalities and spillover effects are considered as a main sources of spatial autocorrelation. From the regional modelling point of view we can observe the increasing role of modelling the spatial effects with economic background as a contrast to so cold ad hoc modelling which is still present in the literature. This type of modelling allows for better statistical description of models and at the same time for better understanding of the regional growth models.pl_PL
