Bocian biały (Ciconia ciconia) na terenie byłego powiatu wieluńskiego w lalach 1974. 1983 i 1984

Abstract

Results of investigations on the distribution (dispersion) of nests and efficiency of breeding of the White Stork within the area of the former Wieluń District in 1974, 1983 and 1984 are compared. It was determined that the abundance of HP nests in 1974, 1983 and 1984 remains at a constant level. Increase was recorded in the num ber of HPo and HB nests and in the number of nests built on the poles of electric traction. In the distinguished groupings of nests the occurrence of strong intraspecific competition was proved, which manifests itself there in the even distribution of all the types of the nests.
