Silny region – silna metropolia. Studia empiryczne na przykładzie nowych regionów NTS-3 w UE w okresie 1999-2005

Abstract

In the paper, the main trends emerging in the UE regions among the new member states on the NUTS-3 level are presented. All the regions under review have been classified into 6 development classes. On the basis of this typology, conclusions have been drawn about the extent and the reasons of the uneven regional development in the EU-12.
