Literatura gejowska i lesbijska jako przejaw krytycyzmu wobec kanonu literackiego i tradycji literackiej
Abstract
The study deals with the subject of Polish gay & lesbian literature in relation to the canon
of literature and the literary tradition. My aim is to define the term of æcanon' and
analyse the reasons of the discrimination homosexual literature. Different interpretations
of stereotypes and various theories of homosexual language are also considered in the
study. Gender studies, especially gay & lesbian studies and queer theory are the most
important methodological context of the study. References to the intertextual theory will
be mentioned too. The analysis refers to the contemporary Polish prose written by such
authors as: Izabela Filipiak, Michał Witkowski, Bartosz Żurawiecki, Michał Zygmunt and
Grzegorz Musiał. Bibliographical basis of the study contains the works of e.g. Inga
Iwasiów, Bartosz Warkocki, German Ritz and Roberto Ferro.
