Obcy wobec innych – próba dialogicznego odczytania dramatu Hioba
Streszczenie
The foreign towards the others – an attempt to dialogical reading of Job's drama.
Biblical history of Job inspire posing a philosophical question about the category of foreignness. This question is especially important in the context of contemporary philosophy of dialogue. Job's history allows us to see it in anthropological sense. The question about the foreign turns out to be the question about men and that is its deepest meaning. Since foreignness is appended to men, are we foreign as soon as we are born or do we become foreign for some reason? Is foreignness foreign's fault or fault of ones who perceive him as a foreign? Job, who experiences isolation and estrangement at the same time experiences confirmation of his ethical principles. Through his twofold experience Job is participating in existential drama.
