Hemoglobiny tkankowe bezkręgowców
Streszczenie
In invertebrates various proteins play the role of oxygen transporter.
They are dissolved in fluids of the respiratory system or present in its
cells. These proteins occur also in other tissues, and therefore are called
tissue hemoglobins.
They play an important role evidenced by occurrence in tissues of animals
possessing no other respiratory proteins in their blood or hemolymph.
This paper presents the occurrence of hemoglobins in the animal kingdom
and their physico-chemical properties, with special attention paid to
the oxygen affinity.
