Poemat epicedialny Mikołaja Fatowicza "Odmiana żalu w pociechę synowi" - w rocznicę śmierci księcia Janusza Wiśniowieckiego

Abstract

In the first part of this paper (it’s a preface to the edition) the author shows the rudimental elements of construction in this epicedial poem: exordium, comploratio and consolatio and presents step by step elemental structure of Odmiana żalu. The author tries to shows a relation between Fatowicz’s poem and neoplatonism philosophy. Fatowicz built texts with two parts. In the first he talks to the widow and reminds her of feelings from a year ago. In the second he makes a vision of a new sun (old was out with the death of prince Janusz Wiśniowiecki before last year), which will shine in a microcosmos of Wiśniowiecki’s world. The second part of this paper is an edition of Odmiana żalu w pociechę synowi, in the transcription type В, and copy the original text with languages, ancient cultures, and historical commentary.
