Między stylem Dantego a stylem własnym Wokół przekładów Boskiej Komedii

Abstract

Przedmiotem artykułu są polskie tłumaczenia Boskiej Komedii – romantyczny przekład Juliana Korsaka i młodopolski przekład Edwarda Porębowicza. Autor pracy dokonuje analizy porównawczej fragmentów Piekła i Raju. Jego rozważania dotyczą recepcji przekładów, struktury językowej, a przede wszystkim poetyki: stylistyki, wersologii i genologii dzieła literackiego. Stanowi to przyczynek do refleksji historycznoliterackiej; artykuł prezentuje związek pomiędzy kontekstem rodzimej twórczości pisarza-tłumacza a kształtem przekładu artystycznego.

The subjects of the article are Polish translations of Dante’s Divine Comedy – the romantic interpretation of Julian Korsak and the modernist interpretation of Edward Porębowicz. The author of the article does the comparative analyze of the episodes of Inferno and Paradiso. The considerations apply to the reception of the translations, to the lingual structure and especially to the poetics: the stylistics, the versification and the literary genology. The analyze is the contribution to the reflection on the history of literature; the article presents the connection between the context of the native tradition of the writertranslator and the character of the artistic translation.
