Refleksje nad starością. Obiektywny i subiektywny wymiar starości – wprowadzenie w debatę

Abstract

W tekście autorka zastanawia się, czym są refleksje nad starością i jakie mają znaczenie dla rozwoju wiedzy gerontologicznej oraz dla pomyślności praktyki starzenia się. Ukazuje początki takiego podejścia badawczego w gerontologii polskiej, a w szczególności w gerontologii społecznej i andragogice – geragogice. Bardziej szczegółowo koncentruje się na jednym z aspektów refleksji nad starością – jej obiektywnym i subiektywnym wymiarem, wskazując na wzajemne między nimi zależności.

In this text, the authoress discuss: what are the reflections on old age, how important are they for development of gerontological knowledge and the prosperity of practice of aging. She shows the beginnings of such a research approach in Polish gerontology, especially in social gerontology, as well as andragogy – geragogy. Much attention is paid to one of the aspects of reflection on old age – its objective and subjective dimension and the mutual dependence between them.
