Abstract
The research of anoikonyms (minor place names, in other terminologies also feature names, field names or microtoponyms) has recently attracted the attention of toponomasticians not only in Slavonic countries, but also worldwide. Regarding the affinity of Slavonic languages it proves to be very useful to study their anoikonymical systems not separately, but with regard to their interrelations. Areal distribution of anoikonyms often crosses the boundaries of states and languages and individual probes indicate that e.g. the differences in frequency and productivity of the same phenomenon occurring both in appellative and proprial language spheres of one language are in many cases major than those between onymical systems in closely related languages. The aim of this paper is to point out these cases and to make an attempt to stimulate a more intense cooperation in this field between Slavonic onomasticians
