Terminologiearbeit in Theorie und Praxis und ihre Resonanz in der universitären Übersetzerausbildung

Abstract

This paper deals with the recent activities of Slovak research institutions and state authorities in terms of terminology teaching and research, as well as terminology work in the Slovak business environment. Based on the results of a survey and the real demands focused on terminology in theory and practice today, the example of the work with terminology database TRANSTERM demonstrates how in university education the terminology teaching and the terminology work is provided for would-be translators and interpreters.
