Abstract
A part of systemic transition in Poland are processes of housing privatization,
considered as a sale of residential units. They take place, inter alia, in municipal housing
stock. Mentioned tendency is observed in other economies under transformation
however with meaningful differences in the form of privatization. The aim of the article
is to evaluate accepted in Poland form of privatization, its dynamics and scale, as
well as its multifaceted consequences. Conducted evaluation allows to identify further
desired changes in the processes of privatization.
