Abstract

Transferring of modern business services abroad is one of the most characteristic features of service globalization. The study is devoted to the issue of modem services offshoring in the context of Poland's chances in the process. Attention has been drawn to factors conducive to international service transfer, types of investment offshoring projects in services, motives behind transferring services abroad, benefits and hazards connected with service receiving. The study also points at competitive advantages and Poland's position in the services offshoring development, as well as conditions conducive to the development of service potential in Poland.
