dc.description.abstractZarządzanie międzynarodowymi przepływami kapitału stanowi nowe zjawisko w międzynarodowych stosunkach finansowych. Podejście instytucjonalne Międzynarodowego Funduszu Walutowego do kontroli kapitału jest nową koncepcją w stosunkach międzynarodowych. W polskiej literaturze po raz pierwszy zostało zaprezentowane w tym opracowaniu. Celem monografii jest przegląd wybranych podejść i badań na temat uwarunkowań zastosowania kontroli kapitału w gospodarce światowej z perspektywy Międzynarodowego Funduszu Walutowego. Rewolucja finansowa, której początek sięga XX wieku, globalizacja gospodarki światowej oraz rozwój technologii stwarzają z jednej strony szansę na rozwój poszczególnych krajów, z drugiej zaś niosą ze sobą zagrożenia niespotykane w dotychczasowej historii gospodarczej świata. Nagłe zatrzymania, kryzysy finansowe w latach 90. ubiegłego stulecia oraz na początku XXI wieku wywołane często przepływami kapitału dały asumpt do ich instytucjonalnego usytuowania. Po raz pierwszy w 2012 roku Międzynarodowy Fundusz Walutowy, w następstwie wybuchu światowego kryzysu finansowego, przyjął Pogląd instytucjonalny, w którym dopuszczono zastosowanie przez władze poszczególnych państw środków kontroli międzynarodowe­ go przepływu kapitału. Pandemia COVID-19 oraz wybuch wojny w Ukrainie w 2022 roku wpłynęły na ponowną rewizję poglądów na temat zarządzania międzynarodowymi przepływami kapitału. Dokonana w 2022 roku w Międzynarodowym Funduszu Walutowym aktualizacja Poglądu instytucjonalnego stanowi, że problem kontroli kapitału jest aktualny, ważny i pilny do rozwiązania w kontekście utrzymania stabilności finansowej gospodarki światowej.pl_PL
