dc.description.abstractMonografia stanowi pierwsze na polskim rynku kompleksowe opracowanie zawierające analizy teoretycznych i praktycznych aspektów międzynarodowych przepływów inwestycji na tle rozwoju międzynarodowego systemu walutowego. Czas, w którym została ukończona, stanowi prawdopodobnie początek wykształcania się nowej globalnej architektury finansowej. Autorka w monografii nawiązała do toczącej się od lat dyskusji dotyczącej kierunków przepływu inwestycji w gospodarce światowej w odniesieniu do tzw. paradoksu Lucasa, definiowanego najczęściej w kontekście nieadekwatności modelu neoklasycznego do objaśniania kierunku przepływu kapitału inwestycyjnego w skali globalnej. Celem publikacji jest zapoznanie czytelnika z różnymi teoriami. poglądami i danymi dotyczącymi międzynarodowych przepływów inwestycji na przestrzeni ostatnich dwóch wieków. W zglobalizowanej gospodarce transgraniczne przepływy środków finansowych stanowią istotną część zachodzących procesów gospodarczych i są ważną determinantą zmienności parametrów makroekonomicznych. Książka jest adresowana do szerokiego grona odbiorców: studentów, pracowników nauki, przedstawicieli biznesu oraz wszystkich zainteresowanych przedstawianą tematyką.pl_PL
