Streszczenie
Issued connected with work assessment have been described in literature many times: starting from planning and carrying out this process, to the effective use of its results. However, this process still inspires a lot of emotions in both interested parties: the evaluated and the evaluating. In this paper, particular attention is paid to the last element of the process which consists in a post-assessment interview. The effects and expectations towards this interview have been presented on the basis of the analysis of the subject literature and results of questionnaire piloting in one company specializing in selling airconditioning equipment.
In consequence of the above considerations, it has been stressed that the linkage of the achieved results with other HR processes occurring in the company, such as bonuses for well-performed tasks, promotions, relocations or developing talents, is the most important element of employee’s work assessment and also a driving force. The article is the discussion of the course of the work assessment, rules of providing feedback and results of the examination of employees’ opinions on assessment interviews.
